                        Intimacy with God

Abide – ”Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.“

”If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.“

”whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.“

”So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.“

Faith – ”For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

”And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.“

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

”You see that faith was active along with his works, and faith was completed by his works;“

”For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so also faith apart from works is dead.“

Love– ”If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.“

               The Way of Love

”If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.“

–worship-Agreeing with God about who He says He is and praising Him for it.

Prayer/Intercession: Praying on other people’s behalf to God as we abide in who He is. Intercession helps us understand God’s word better.

As you pray:

Pray for patience

Pray for understanding.

Pray also for your loved ones Pray for your enemies.

Pray for those who are struggling

Pray about your desires

Pray for God’s will to be done in your life

Pray for God’s will to be done in the lives of the people you’re praying for!

These things are best done whilst (Asking for Guidance of the Holy Spirit. Ask God to help and show you how to do all these things. The Holy Spirit is our Helper!)

• Abide in Him and His Word
• Praise Him
• Pray/Intercede for others
• Love one another (Have the love of in us.)
• Have Faith

-Ask God to help you and surround yourself with a God fearing and loving community to keep your eyes on Jesus Christ and to uplift you and keep you accountable.

Find someone to confess your sins to so the enemy has no ability to intensify your shame and guilt, but will point you to God So you can change and find healing so you go into intercession without hinderance. If you stay silent about your sins and struggles the enemy can use your guilt, shame , struggles  towards and cloud your vision of God and yourself.  There’s healing in confession and repentance.

Confess to another:

”Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.“

‭‭James‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Confess to most importantly God:

”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.“

‭‭1 John‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

1 Timothy 2

Pray for All People

2 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man[a] Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time

        Obedience to God’s Word

(If we love Him, we will obey Him!)

”but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him:“

”“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.“

The Way of the Righteous and the Wicked

1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;

• 2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.

                  God’s Will

”Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.“
